master bedroom

the master bedroom suite is nice and roomy for the size and period of this house I think... about 12' x 18' so not so huge by todays modern home standard... but still pretty roomy... we have a king side bed and the room its sparcly furnished with 2 bed side tables and a couple of chairs... and a low glass table opposite the foot of the bed... its cabled for a flat screen tv hanging on the wall east wall... behind that picture on the wall is power outlet and cable... there are 2 small windows on the east wall to the outside side yard this gives plenty of sun in the mornings... but keeps the room quite and cosy in the afternoons... and at night with the windows opened you can hear the ocean... we don't have any dressers or other cabinets in the room which give a nice sence of space...

the bathroom in the suite is old style with a double sink... and one toilet... also quite roomy... about 6 x 15... the bath and shower included are one fixture... to the left of the entrance door and you step down into a tiled bath / shower combination... there is a very beautiful and unusual feature in the bathroom which is a sliding glass door to an outdoor cubical about 6' x 8' x 8' tall... this stone block cubical is closed of to any outside access but opened on the top... this feature lets a lot of light in during the day... and there are some trees growing around the outside that are visible from in the bathroom... opening the sliding door is great for fresh air... this sliding glass door is just inside the bath and shower combo... actually making the side wall of the shower... presently a simple rock garden outside...

there is one walk in closet in the suite that has a step down... and it is quite big... about 8' x 12'... with lots of wooden shelves and racks for hangers... this space is ample for 2 adults... a dark wooden parkay floor... entrance door is bi-fold glass...
